During the holiday season, we turned Starbucks into a festive celebration led by Holiday Joy Ambassador Henry Lau, whose infectious energy kicked off the season through a joyful musical performance. Rooted in Starbucks’ spirit of connection and positivity, the campaign delivered a simple message: Joy is Contagious — spreading warmth, music, and shared happiness throughout the holidays.

Joy is Contagious.
Starbucks believes that human connection creates a ripple of joy — spreading from one person to another.

During the holiday season, music became the emotional catalyst of the campaign. A familiar festive melody was reimagined through Henry Lau’s creative interpretation, resulting in a heartfelt song co-created by Starbucks and Henry — Sound of Holiday Joy — designed to spark anticipation and shared happiness.

The idea came to life through seasonal beverages, special-edition red cup designs, and joyful in-store experiences. By creating moments meant to be shared, the campaign encouraged connection, allowing joy to flow freely and continuously between people.
